We are thrilled to share highlights from our recent Easter Monday community celebration, which brought together neighbors, families, and friends for a day filled with joy, reflection, and fellowship.

1. Exciting New Experiences: Children and adults alike experienced the thrill of a bouncing castle, face painting, and their first taste of ice cream. Fatuma, a brave young girl, made history by being the first to step onto the bouncing castle, setting a courageous example for others.

2. Spiritual Enrichment: Amidst the festivities, we gathered for an uplifting open-air church service led by Pastor Robert Opali. With expressive praise and worship, Pastor Opali delivered a powerful sermon on the significance of Easter, prompting deep reflection on the purpose of Christ's coming and the question of eternity.

3. Community Unity: Local leaders, politicians, members of the Muslim community, and pastors from various churches came together, marking one of the largest gatherings in our community. We rejoice that three individuals committed their lives to Christ, with two more expressing their desire for spiritual transformation.

4. Feasting Together: Over 500 adults and 300 children enjoyed a delicious Easter meal prepared by church members. While some missed out due to underestimating the turnout, the spirit of sharing and community prevailed.

5. Celebrating Talent: Entertainment was abound with singing and dancing performances by local church members and guests from Kampala. Wonder Mukisa, a talented member of our community aspiring to be a gospel musician, captivated the audience with her voice and heartfelt songs.

7. Gratitude and Positivity: We are grateful for the overwhelming positive feedback from our community members, who expressed their gratitude for a day filled with joy, camaraderie, and new experiences. As we reflect on this memorable day, let us continue to cherish the bonds that unite us as a community and strive to make every day an opportunity to love people like Jesus and to share the Good News of the Gospel.
